    Anxiety

    Anxiety is a sense of apprehension and tension that stems from the anticipation of danger. Anxiety affects the body with symptoms such as increased heart rate, rapid breathing, and tight muscles. Worry dominates the thoughts and emotions become intense.

     Anxiety tells you that something bad is going to happen and you are alone and can’t handle it. Your anxiety says that to stay safe you must avoid the danger either by not moving or by acting in old ways that no longer help you.
